WHO WE ARE

The League of Women Voters of Greater Lafayette is a non-partisan, grassroots organization dedicated to empowering informed and active participation in government. For decades, we've worked to defend democracy and ensure that every eligible voter in our community has the opportunity and confidence to make their voice heard.

We are volunteers, advocates, educators, and neighbors united by a shared commitment to civic engagement, voter education, and public policy shaped by thoughtful, inclusive dialogue. Whether its registering new voters, hosting candidate forums, or breaking down complex legislation, we provide trusted, factual information to help our community navigate the political process.

As part of the national League of Women Voters, we never support or oppose political parties or candidates. Instead, we work tirelessly to make democracy work for everyone right here in Lafayette.
