Thursday, April 22, 2010	6:30-8:30	Lilly Nature Center at the Celery Bog	League of Greater Lafayette Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting of the League of Women Voters of Greater Lafayette will be held on Thursday, April 22 from 6:30-8:30PM at the Lilly Nature Center at the Celery Bog. A light supper will be provided. Cost for the meal is $10 and reservations are needed for ordering of the food. Please send in your reservation by April 18 to league@leaguelafayette.org. At the meeting the members of the Observer Corps will report on the government agencies they have been observing. There will be a report on the activities of our League in the past year. We will hold elections of officers and directors, approve the budget for 2010-11, and approve the LWVGL program for the coming year. You will also have an opportunity to give direction to the Board
Monday, April 26, 2010	11:45-1pm	YWCA, 605 N. 6th St., Lafayette	YWCA NETWORK LUNCHEON SERIES -- Women and the Law--April 26. On Monday, April 26, the YWCA in partnership with our League will present a program on "Women and the Law" as part of the Network Luncheon Series. Ann Ginda, attorney with Indiana Legal Services Inc. and Sybil Sharvelle, attorney with Truitt, Ray & Sharvelle, LLP, will explore changes in family law that have impacted women's lives over the past 25 years as well as family and elder law issues such as long-term care and estate planning. Wednesday, July 14, 2010	6-8pm	West Lafayette Public Library 200 Northwestern Ave West Lafayette, IN 47906	"Sisters on the Planet". A film telling the story of four women in different parts of the globe explaining the effects of climate change on their communities. It provides inspirational ways in which they worked to mitigate the effects of the changes happening in their area.
Saturday, August 21, 2010	11 am - 1 pm	Happy Hollow Park Shelter #3	Annual Picnic. The program will be presented by our local Task Force on government reform. They will discuss the Executive Summary of the report developed over the past year. Bring a dish to share. Tableware and water will be provided.
